Description
We are seeking a Senior FX Developer and Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Barclays in Prague.
The purpose of this role is to design, develop, and improve software that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-standard programming languages, frameworks, and tools, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to define software requirements and devise solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, promote code quality, and share knowledge with peers.
- Stay updated on industry technology trends and contribute to the organisation's technology communities.
- Implement secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability through effective unit testing practices.

Requirements:
- Extensive Linux systems experience.
- Prior engineering experience with C++, C#, or Java programming.
- Experience with Shell and Python scripting.
- Troubleshooting experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD systems.
- Configuration management and pipeline deployment experience.
- Oracle SQL or database fundamentals.
Salary Information:
- Entry salary: 1,884,000.00 CZK per year.
- Upper salary: 2,301,000.00 CZK per year.
