Description
We are seeking a BIM Technician Rail Telecommunication to join our Integrated Complementary Resource Centre GCC AU India BIM team in Bengaluru.
The successful candidate will work in a team environment to develop and deliver projects through various stages of design, from feasibility to planning/detailed design and construction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Modelling telecommunication cabinets and equipment layouts for metro station technical rooms, ensuring compliance with space optimisation, safety, and industry standards.
- Preparing schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings using industry-standard tools.
- Coordinating with signalling, power, and civil teams to ensure seamless integration of telecom systems.
- Preparing telecom block diagrams, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, location plans, cable routing layouts, equipment specifications/data sheets, and technical bid evaluations.
Requirements:
- At least one key area such as a Diploma/Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering, with 7-10 years relevant work experience in Revit/Bentley/Autodesk BIM Software.
- Excellent working knowledge of Civil Core knowledge of 3D Revit/MicroStation/AECOsim/OpenBuilding Designer (any 3D skillset is sufficient).
- Good working knowledge of the relevant Metro Rail discipline.
