Description
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Power Generation Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Cleveland, OH.
In this role, you will be responsible for completing repair activities on generators or components, engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner, performing maintenance and repairs using diagnostic tools, maintaining detailed records of service, adhering to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies, and participating in ongoing development and certifications on new and existing Cummins products.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities
- High Voltage / Low Voltage experience
- Capability to perform electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision
- Basic Diesel Engine experience
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components
- Ability to perform repairs on ATS systems and commission new ATS installations
