Description
Ford Motor Company is looking for a highly creative and strategic Exterior or Interior Designer to join our new state-of-the-art design studio in Dearborn.
The successful candidate will develop conceptual and production-based exterior solutions in the form of sketches, renderings, and 3D digital models.
Responsibilities
- Think creatively, strategically, and analytically
- Create compelling and innovative interior design experiences and visions for design projects
- Coordinate the work of other design personnel to achieve holistic design visions
- Create future brand-focused design visions
- Span digital and physical thinking, including software and hardware
- Problem-solve around topics of connectivity, mobility, and consumer segments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience with production or advanced concepts
- Experience working within the automotive industry
- Automotive or Transportation Design experience, including experience with final design product execution
- Ability to translate 2D to 3D and think three-dimensionally with a strong emphasis on proportions and a refined sense of form
