Description
Join AIA as a Commodity Manager, responsible for negotiating favourable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers and third-party providers. You'll work closely with the Technology team to ensure timely delivery of transformation and digital initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure strict compliance with procurement requirements and AIA's local sourcing policies.
- Analyse the Philam Group's spend profile to understand and develop plans for category transformations and key cost measures.
- Manage Technology and Outsourcing Arrangements as a Commodity Manager.
- Drive end-to-end sourcing activities, from supplier identification to contract management and benefit tracking.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, develop, and execute data, report, and dashboard requirements.
- Educate stakeholders and build a risk-based supplier management culture with the Head of Strategic Sourcing.
- Develop key supplier relationships and act as a change support for stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 4-year college education in business courses like Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Business Management, or Administration.
- At least 8 years of experience in a sourcing and procurement managerial role.
- Preferred certifications include supply chain or procurement memberships.
- Experience with P2P systems like SAP or Ariba, project management, and developing relationships with senior stakeholders is desirable.
