Officer, Clearing Operations

We are seeking an Officer, Clearing Operations to join a team of 10+ to provide competent operational and administration support to the clearing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide operational and administration support to clearing operations, resolving exceptions and contingency situations swiftly and professionally
• Carry out effective and efficient operational processes to deliver quality services and support new business initiatives
• Liaise with internal teams, external business counterparties, and market participants on daily operations and new clearing products/services
• Deliver project tasks, including user requirements and user acceptance tests
• Establish and maintain operational relationships with participants, delivering quality service improvements
• Work shift duties, including evening shifts and public holiday support on a regular and needs basis

Requirements:

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accountancy, Economics, or a related subject
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in the financial industry, preferably in derivatives or OTC clearing operations
• Clear and open communication skills, with good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
• Strong analytical thinking and risk awareness in day-to-day operations
• Conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; knowledge of macros and automatic tools is an advantage
