Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Baar, Switzerland. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial accounting, including the preparation of financial statements according to Swiss law (OR) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Key responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for financial accounting of a subsidiary in the media sector
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to local GAAP (OR) and IFRS
• Involvement in internal and external audits
• Technical leadership of accounts receivable
• Coordination of work assignments and additional tasks
• Operational involvement in day-to-day business
• Liquidity planning and financial planning support
• Budgeting and commenting on financial indicators
• Creation of meaningful analyses and evaluations
• Handling various tax issues and projects

Requirements:

• Completed federal diploma in finance and accounting with several years of experience in a similar position
• Very good SAP knowledge and secure application of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Flexible, communicative, proactive, and team-oriented personality with independent, accurate, and structured working style
• Critical questioning of results
• Fluent German and good oral and written English skills
