Technology Operations Manager

We are Starling Bank, a fully licensed UK bank founded by Anne Boden, a woman. We use technology to help people manage their money in a new and transformative way.

Our Technology Operations team provides first-line support for Starling, serving internal colleagues and external technology partners. As a Technology Operations Manager, you will lead a high-performing team supporting a primarily Apple Mac estate and critical infrastructure across two offices.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Technology Operations team across multiple offices
• Drive team performance and behaviours in line with company values
• Provide day-to-day oversight for Mac and Windows environments
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand operational requirements
• Assist with escalations to third-party suppliers
• Develop data-driven dashboards to identify process improvements
• Manage incident response and escalation processes
• Support IT projects related to office infrastructure and hardware lifecycle management

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing technical support or operations teams
• Strong working knowledge of macOS and Windows support
• Experience with management tools such as Zentral, Intune, and Meraki
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-site operations
• Experience with incident management and ITSM tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
