Responsible Officer (Type 9 Regulated Activities)

You will be joining Sun Life, a leading financial services company, as a Responsible Officer (Type 9 Regulated Activities). Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and manage the Type 9 regulated activities of the company, including managing the MPF scheme's daily dealing activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out and supervise Type 9 regulated activities, including managing MPF scheme's daily dealing activities
• Ensure asset management function abides by regulatory guidelines/restrictions set by MPFA and SFC
• Review and enhance investment processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
• Perform fund/fund manager screening, due diligence, selection, monitoring, evaluation, and formulate strategic and tactical asset allocation
• Jointly accountable for making tactical allocation to underlying funds/fund managers to deliver results in meeting performance targets
• Support business initiatives, including product design and launch, and manage external manager relationships

Requirements:

• University graduate in Investment, Finance, Economics or similar discipline
• Over 10 years of working experience in portfolio management or related fields
• CFA charter holder and/or other relevant professional qualifications a plus

Preferred Skills:

• Solid financial background with good understanding of global financial markets
• Strong understanding of asset management strategies and regulatory compliance
• Knowledge of MPF market and products, competition, and relevant regulatory framework
• Good understanding of fund distribution landscape in HK and the region
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good team player with positive attitude and ability to think out-of-the-box
