As a Junior Funds Paralegal at Carta, you will work to liaise with transfer parties on process and timings, assist with execution workflows, and contribute to high-quality client delivery across fast-moving, high-volume matters.

- Build commercial and legal expertise over time, with opportunities to take ownership of client accounts and progress towards qualification as a practicing legal professional

You will be joining our Funds team in the Americas Region. Carta Law is the largest AI-native law firm for private capital, born from the combination of Avantia Law and Carta. Our lawyers and paralegals work alongside embedded AI agents to deliver investor onboarding, transaction KYC, and high-volume legal work with a speed and consistency that traditional law firms simply can't match.
Requirements
- Eager to learn and grow, motivated, curious, and excited to develop expertise in legal practice
- Organised and efficient, prioritising well, managing competing deadlines, and keeping matters moving without losing attention to detail
- A strong communicator, writing and speaking clearly and professionally
- A self-starter, taking initiative, working independently when needed, and proactively flagging issues before they become problems
- A team player, collaborating effectively with lawyers, senior paralegals, and client-facing teams across a fast-paced environment
- Legally educated (preferred), with an undergraduate Law degree or equivalent, or a GDL
