Description
We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our team at Asda. As an Operations Manager, you will deliver excellent execution across the store and embed consistent routines that deliver availability, waste and shrink.
You will review store processes to deliver great metrics and KRAs for availability, waste and shrink by embedding routine and process across the shop floor, adhering to contract base management and wage control whilst leading and coaching our managers and teams to deliver excellent store standards across Ambient and Fresh departments as well as George and General Merchandising in our large format stores.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience managing diverse teams in a large-format retail environment with energy and pace.
- Strong operational knowledge across food and non-food departments.
- A track record of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink.
- Confidence in developing large teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience.
- Experience managing ER cases and understanding HR policies and processes.
- Strong organisational skills and exceeding customer service.
