Description

Ford is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Supply Chain Resilience Program Manager to lead the development and execution of end-to-end supply chain resilience initiatives across our global value chain.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional workstreams spanning all major vehicle systems, including Electrical, Exterior, Interior, Powertrain, and Chassis, while partnering with Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, and Supplier Technical Assistance teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute supply chain resilience strategies that strengthen Ford's end-to-end supply network.
  • Establish and maintain resilience frameworks, governance models, and risk management processes across the full value chain.
  • Identify structural vulnerabilities and develop mitigation plans to improve continuity and operational stability.
  • Drive long-term initiatives that reduce exposure to single-source dependencies, capacity constraints, geographic concentration risks, and supplier financial instability.
  • Lead a portfolio of high-impact resilience workstreams across Electrical, Exterior, Interior, Powertrain, and Chassis systems.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives and deliver measurable improvements in supply chain resilience.
  • Manage timelines, milestones, risk registers, issue resolution, and executive reporting.
  • Ensure alignment between resilience objectives and Ford's overall manufacturing, sourcing, and product development strategies.
  • Conduct proactive assessments of supplier, sub-tier, logistics, and material supply risks.
  • Partner with Purchasing and Engineering organizations to identify critical components, technologies, and supply chain bottlenecks.
  • Develop mitigation strategies including dual sourcing, localization, capacity expansion, inventory optimization, and contingency planning.
  • Monitor emerging risks related to geopolitical events, trade policy changes, natural disasters, labor disruptions, and supplier performance.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, dashboards, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Provide regular updates to the Vice President of Supply Chain and Supply Chain Leadership Team.
  • Translate complex supply chain risks into actionable business insights and strategic decision recommendations.
  • Lead governance forums and facilitate decisions across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Utilize data analytics and risk intelligence tools to identify trends, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop KPIs and performance metrics that measure resilience effectiveness across suppliers, commodities, and vehicle programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain visibility, transparency, and responsiveness.
  • Benchmark Ford's resilience capabilities against industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Operations, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Consulting, or Program Management.
  • Highly proficient in AI use.
