Description
We are seeking a Restaurant Server to join our team at O'Malley's Pub, located at the Holiday Inn Dulles in Sterling, Virginia.
As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. You will adhere to all health regulations and local liquor laws, ensuring exceptional guest service and creating an inviting atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality guest service, responding to guests in a friendly, positive, and timely manner.
- Take orders accurately, using proper serving techniques, and be knowledgeable about specials and promotions.
- Complete side work, including cleaning restaurant areas, vacuuming, trash removal, and stocking supplies.
- Control expenses by following procedures for handling cash and processing financial transactions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to regulations and company procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet guest needs.
Required Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
- TIPS or CARE beverage service certification desired, or the ability to obtain certification.
- One or more years of previous guest service experience.
- Exemplary customer service, attention to detail, and ability to perform job duties in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to speak, understand, and write English.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Additional Information: The actual base pay offered is determined by several variables, including the applicant's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and level of education attained. Base pay is one component of B. F. Saul Company & Affiliates' total compensation package, which also includes access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, and more.
