Description
We are seeking an Assistant Transport Modeller to join our team in India. As an Assistant Transport Modeller, you will work on strategic modelling using Saturn or VISUM software, and support the successful delivery of high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct strategic modelling using Saturn or VISUM software.
- Understand supporting tools such as GIS, Excel VBA, and Python.
- Apply detailed knowledge of UK Transport Planning and modelling guidelines.
- Support project delivery and coordinate with senior engineers and graduates.
- Conduct research and review design options for technical and economic impact.
- Manage technical project risks and provide feedback to the line manager.
Requirements:
- Understanding of fundamental modelling techniques, traffic management techniques, and transport design and modelling guidance.
- Experience in programming, VBA, and report writing.
- Demonstrable collaboration, teamwork, commercial acumen, technical capability, adaptability, and learning skills.
