Job Overview
The Global Operations Associate role is critical to Flexport's mission to make global trade easy for everyone. You will be part of the Global Operations Team, which is responsible for delighting customers, managing partners, and driving innovation through process automation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate supply chain operations with ocean activities within your region
- Ensure high-quality customer experience by focusing on on-time performance and proactive exception handling
- Work closely with peers and supervisors to problem-solve and identify opportunities for improvement
- Execute the end-to-end movement of freight shipments within a regional network
- Use data and operational tools to inform decisions and contribute to efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with internal and external partners, such as carriers, vendors, and customs
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree or completed professional training as forwarding agent
- 2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or freight forwarding
- Technology-first mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Effective time management, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Client service mindset with a focus on client satisfaction
- Fluency in English and German
