The HKUST Bilingual Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Program is designed for senior executives and business leaders who aspire to drive meaningful change in their industries. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead the admissions and marketing efforts for this flagship executive doctoral program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive admissions strategies to attract high-calibre senior executives and business leaders, primarily from the Chinese mainland and the broader region.
  • Manage the full admissions cycle, including candidate outreach, application screening, interview coordination, and admission committee liaison.
  • Plan and implement marketing initiatives to enhance program visibility, including digital campaigns, industry events, alumni referrals, and targeted outreach to corporate partners.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to refine positioning and recruitment approaches.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective candidates, alumni, corporate sponsors, and academic partners.
  • Organize admissions events, information sessions, and candidate interviews in Hong Kong, the mainland, and other key markets.
  • Collaborate with faculty, program directors, and cross-institutional partners to ensure a seamless and professional candidate experience.
  • Provide regular reports and data analysis on admissions funnel metrics, conversion rates, and marketing effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in admissions, marketing, business development, or program management, preferably within executive education, higher education, or professional services.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including both Putonghua and Cantonese).
  • Demonstrated experience in student recruitment, candidate engagement, or client relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of the executive education landscape in China and Asia.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders with confidence and discretion.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet demanding targets.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the mainland and occasionally internationally.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal office hours, including weekends, during peak admissions periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DBA, EMBA, or other executive doctoral programs.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and digital marketing tools.
  • Existing network within corporate leadership circles in the mainland.
