AI Transformation Owner, Product & Design

GitLab is seeking an AI Transformation Owner to shape the AI strategy for the Product & Design function. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying areas where AI can fundamentally change how the organisation operates, partnering with stakeholders to drive measurable outcomes, and managing the full lifecycle of AI solutions.

Strategy & Prioritization

• Own the AI strategy for the Product & Design function, aligned with business priorities.
• Understand key metrics, identify areas for improvement, and track progress over time.
• Map end-to-end workflows, identifying constraints and opportunities for AI.
• Prioritize AI requests and ideas, ensuring focus on high-impact work.

Adoption & Change Management

• Reimagine workflows, challenging the organisation to think beyond automation.
• Drive adoption and change management, creating channels for visibility and feedback.
• Coordinate with Enterprise AI to leverage patterns, tools, and learnings.
• Build and bridge a Champion network to extend reach.

Hands-On Building & Agent Operations

• Build AI agents using no-code and low-code platforms.
• Author and iterate on skills files, refining instructions based on usage.
• Configure MCP servers and tools, partnering with AI Engineers.
• Own the fleet of agents, tracking KPIs and iterating based on learnings.
