Senior Manager, Validation and HPC - NVIS

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the deployment of cutting-edge InfiniBand and Ethernet technologies in its NVIDIA Infrastructure Specialists division. The successful candidate will oversee large-scale AI/HPC initiatives, manage a team of HPC service professionals, and ensure timely project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and supervise HPC engineering functions in designing, developing, installing, and validating hardware and software for Customer AI High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems.
• Lead HPC project planning, implementation, and performance, improving system services bring-up and configuration.
• Drive HPC team hardware and software deployment, develop procedures for system validation.
• Lead team activities, tests, and plans for Customer's HPC AI systems implementations.
• Support the HPC Engineering team, working with internal collaborators to deliver service quality and continuous improvement.
• Lead team member development, setting and achieving career growth goals.
• Build strong relationships with NVIDIA leaders, customers, partners, and collaborators.

Requirements:

• 10+ years' experience in IT, high-performance computing, or a related field; 3+ years of experience in a management or leadership role.
• Demonstrated expertise in HPC systems design, configuration, and planning.
• Proficiency with low latency/high-bandwidth interconnect infrastructure (InfiniBand and Ethernet).
• Expertise with HPC system software, cluster management/provisioning tools, and job schedulers.
• Strong scripting ability and experience with programming fundamentals.
• Expertise with administration, supervising, and maintaining secure Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Ability to understand and work with large, sophisticated systems, identify and resolve problems, and troubleshoot network issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• InfiniBand experience.
• Experience with GPU-focused hardware/software.
• Experience with MPI.
• Automation tooling background.
• Ethernet and Storage technologies such as Lustre or GPFS.
