Description
We are seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to join our team in Hounslow, England and Wales, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will provide specialist Employee Relations advice and operational case management across the UK & Ireland, enabling managers at all levels to manage people matters fairly, consistently and in line with Company policies, employment legislation and organisational values.
The Employee Relations function exists to create a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace by enabling managers at all levels to make confident people decisions while ensuring specialist Employee Relations expertise is available where organisational complexity, contractual requirements or workforce risk require intervention.
The role is responsible for managing a broad range of Employee Relations cases, providing practical guidance and coaching to managers, conducting investigations and supporting the early resolution of workplace issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of Employee Relations cases, including performance, conduct, attendance, grievance and capability matters
- Providing practical Employee Relations advice and guidance to managers at all levels
- Conducting investigations and preparing clear, evidence-based investigation reports
- Supporting managers through formal Employee Relations processes, ensuring consistency and compliance
- Identifying opportunities for early intervention and informal resolution where appropriate
- Escalating complex or high-risk matters in line with the agreed operating framework
The ideal candidate will have:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent professional experience)
- Degree or equivalent professional experience in Human Resources or a related discipline
