Assistant Content Designer - EA SPORTS™ NHL

The Assistant Content Designer - EA SPORTS™ NHL role is part of the EA Sports team in Vancouver, British Columbia. The successful candidate will work with the production and design team to identify and create live content for EA Sports customers. They will report to one of the Producers on the EA Sports NHL team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the NHL Live Team to develop and execute live content plans.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality live content, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Translate real-world hockey events into live content ideas and plans, often requiring flexible work hours.
• Define goals and opportunities for live content based on Key Performance Indicators.
• Work closely with NHL producers to understand targets and priority changes.
• Communicate progress and quality effectively with the NHL team.
• Foster strong relationships and engagement with other groups, such as Marketing and QA.
• Manage dependencies and coordinate deliverables across teams.
• Contribute to team morale and encourage positive working relationships.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in game design and/or production, preferably with live service experience.
• Strong understanding of hockey and a genuine passion for the sport.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on product quality and user experience.

The ideal candidate will have a good eye for game quality, be a strong advocate for the end-user experience, and be able to come up with and document creative ideas.
