We are seeking a skilled Support Specialist Electrician to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Columbus, Indiana. As a Support Specialist Electrician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems using various tools to ensure equipment availability and capability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and perform electrical repairs and maintenance on equipment
- Apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship
- Support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis
- Perform work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and specifications
- Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system
- Instruct and coach others and act as an informal resource for team members
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Responsibilities:
- Stop work and report any major injury hazards
- Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard
- Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Associate’s degree with two-four years of relevant experience
- Trade certificate with four years of relevant experience
- Six years of relevant experience
- Department of Labor certification
- Must pass all related testing
Experience:
- Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience
- CNC troubleshooting, PLC experience, Robot troubleshooting
