Description

We are seeking a skilled Support Specialist Electrician to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Columbus, Indiana. As a Support Specialist Electrician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems using various tools to ensure equipment availability and capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and perform electrical repairs and maintenance on equipment
  • Apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship
  • Support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis
  • Perform work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and specifications
  • Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system
  • Instruct and coach others and act as an informal resource for team members
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area

  • Stop work and report any major injury hazards
  • Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard
  • Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Associate’s degree with two-four years of relevant experience
  • Trade certificate with four years of relevant experience
  • Six years of relevant experience
  • Department of Labor certification
  • Must pass all related testing

Experience:

  • Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience
  • CNC troubleshooting, PLC experience, Robot troubleshooting
