Physical Therapist, Part Time, Lymphedema

We are seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to join our team at Lexington Medical Center - Outpatient Rehabilitation. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide comprehensive therapeutic patient care to ensure positive patient outcomes. You will educate patients and healthcare providers to assure continuity of the patient care plan and interact with other departments and members of the medical team to develop and implement interdisciplinary patient care plans.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care assessment and treatment
• Maintain accurate patient documentation
• Meet department financial and productivity standards
• Participate in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services
• Promote professional development and education of other healthcare workers
• Supervise physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students
• Communicate in a professional and timely manner with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in North Carolina
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physical therapy school
• CPR certification required every two years
