Description
We are seeking a BIM Technician to join our team in Pasig City, National Capital Region, Philippines.
As a BIM Technician, you will be responsible for preparing general arrangement drawings and RC detailing with bar bending schedule. You will ensure that drawings comply with specific project design brief instructions and all details are carried out correctly to WSP Standards and QA Procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing structural General Arrangement, reinforced concrete and structural steelwork drawings
- Conducting reinforcement bar quantity estimates
- Performing technical Revit operations in accordance with company requirements and standards
- Ensuring construction documents accuracy based on discipline
- Collaborating and coordinating with other disciplines
- Adhering to BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria
- Following BIM content standards and development procedures
- Printing drawing sets for professional teams and attending discipline reviews
- Exporting DWF and other formats for collaboration internally and externally
- Working within a team to produce high-quality work
- Performing quality drawing checks as required
- Informing team leads and clients about the progress and status of work
- Assisting more senior BIM Technicians and Coordinators with task analysis and problem-solving
- Building an understanding of basic discipline-based design concepts
- Participating in training activities to extend and share knowledge
- Gaining an appreciation for project technology tools required for digital project delivery
- Complying with all role-specific SHEQ obligations
- Developing awareness of project delivery risk and mitigation techniques
Requirements:
- Technical competence commensurate with a BIM Technician's role
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field
- Knowledge of Revit Structures and AutoCAD
- Skills in Dynamo and coding are desirable
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Applications
- Good English communication skills
- Experience in structural modelling and detailing of reinforced concrete and steel structures
- Experience in BIM360, BIM360 docs, and ProjectWise
- Ability to work as a team player and independently
- Attention to detail and ability to follow targets and deadlines
