Description
We are seeking a Splunk PS Senior Consultant, Security to drive technical leadership and innovation within the Splunk security ecosystem. You will serve as a trusted advisor for sophisticated, multi-functional security initiatives at regional and global scale. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical leadership and authority guidance within the Splunk security domain
- Leading sophisticated, multi-functional security projects and acting as a trusted partner to CISO and IT leadership
- Designing and implementing tailored Splunk security architectures to mitigate risk and maximize technology investments
- Applying AI and automation tools to optimize security operations and improve detection efficacy
- Developing and maintaining high-value relationships with customers
- Defining and implementing documentation standards for sophisticated security deployments
- Building and applying advanced simulation environments and providing expert support for sophisticated security issues
- Mentoring and developing technical skills across the team
- Synthesizing customer feedback to prioritize and advocate for Splunk product and service improvements
The successful candidate will have:
- AGSVA PV clearance
- Experience with Federal Government Agencies
- A university degree plus equivalent experience (minimum 6-8 years)
- Expert-level certification in Splunk (e.g., Splunk Certified Architect, Splunk Certified Consultant) or equivalent relevant security certification
Preferred qualifications include:
- Demonstrable experience leading sophisticated, multi-functional consulting or engineering projects within the security space
- Deep technical expertise in the Splunk platform
- Advanced skills in automation, SOAR orchestration, and AI-driven security operations
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop talent across technical consulting teams
