Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Shanghai. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all accounting affairs, ensuring 100% compliance with company policies, local regulations, and IFRS, and assisting the Chief Accountant as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable, including daily posting, invoicing, and payment clearance
• Review AR ledger daily and ensure accuracy in month-end closing
• Submit AR aging report to HQ monthly
• Conduct dunning procedures and coordinate with Operations/Sales teams
• Set up and monitor customer credit limits
• Manage accounts payable, including expense claiming, vendor master data creation, and payment runs
• Ensure compliance with treasury guidelines and local regulations
• Prepare liquidity forecasts and provide insights to line managers
• Handle VAT/WHT and other indirect tax procedures
• Maintain FA register and support Chief Accountant with audit requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline
• 3-5 years of in-house experience in the FMCG industry, preferably with experience in AR and AP
• Autonomous, solutions-driven, organized, and able to work under pressure
• Proficient in SAP, MS Excel, and fluent in Mandarin and English (written and verbal)
