Medical Billing Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a Medical Billing Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a representative, you will help patients navigate their billing questions with professionalism, patience, and care. This is a remote position, and you will work with patients across various states.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls regarding patient statements, insurance payments, and account balances.
• Provide accurate information about patient accounts, billing history, and charges.
• Process credit card payments over the phone.
• Document call details, account inquiries, and actions taken.
• Escalate complex billing disputes and concerns to the appropriate department.
• Deliver friendly, professional service while handling sensitive billing questions.

Qualifications

• 1 year of call center or customer service/office experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
• Ability to multitask and process information efficiently.
• A calm, professional approach when handling challenging calls.
• A patient-focused attitude and a commitment to quality customer service.
