Safety Engineer

We are seeking a Safety Engineer to join the Saudi Aramco Loss Prevention organization (LP). The successful candidate will be required to perform the following tasks:

What you'll do

The Safety Engineer will be responsible for providing daily support to company facilities and departments, helping them to effectively implement the Saudi Aramco Safety Management System (Occupational & Process Safety) expectations and associated programs, as well as to assure compliance to all company safety requirements.

• Facilitate implementation of the Saudi Aramco Safety Management System, as well as its objectives and expectations, including developing associated safety processes, and participating in self-assessments.
• Conduct field inspections/reviews to assess compliance to company and international codes and standards, identify safety concerns, formulate solutions, and develop practical and cost-effective corrective actions.

What you need

• As the successful candidate, you will hold a Bachelor degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from an Accredited Institution,
• You will have 7 years of experience as a safety professional in the oil and gas, petrochemicals or related industries.
