Electronic Arts is seeking an Associate Quality Designer for the College Football game in Orlando, Florida.

As an Associate Quality Designer at EA, you will be deeply embedded in the development process, testing, documenting, and analyzing the game during production. Your primary goal will be to ensure the quality of the game meets players' expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Build working relationships with development, production, and design teams to promote a higher quality player experience.
  • Analyze internal and player data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Review and develop quality strategies, test plans, and test cases.
  • Identify technical solutions and automation opportunities.
  • Leverage testing tools and AI capabilities to inform testing strategies.
  • Drive process improvements and knowledge sharing across the sports QV teams.
  • Communicate progress and status to managers and team members.
  • Consider the game from a player's perspective to identify ways to improve the player experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent QA experience with Agile/Scrum and software development lifecycles.
  • Hands-on experience with defect tracking software, QA planning tools, and gaming console platforms.
  • Skilled in writing comprehensive test plans and cases using black, gray, and white box testing practices.
  • Deep knowledge of American/College Football and familiarity with the College Football video game series.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with collaboration tools like Confluence, Slack, or Miro.
  • Passion for innovative testing through automation, data-driven methods, AI tools, and prompt writing for game QA.
  • Familiarity with game authenticity, audio/sound QA implementation, and UI/UX testing principles.
