Senior Finance Analyst - Chartered Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst - Chartered Accountant to join our Finance Department in Bangalore.

The Finance Department provides best-in-class advice, support, and control to our businesses and investors through an experienced and dedicated global team.

The successful candidate will support the centralization of finance activities into Bangalore, with a primary focus on Bank Reconciliations and related finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare month-end closing, journal entries, reconciliations, tax, and other local filings.
• Assist with annual statutory, tax, and transfer studies and audits as per local GAAP requirements.
• Reconcile information and respond to requests for information to assist with consolidation by the parent US Company as per US GAAP.
• Facilitate requests from various departments, including tax authorities, external auditors, and regulators.
• Interact with various internal stakeholders across finance and departments in Asia, Europe, and New York, and external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and tax advisors.
• Assist in identifying and driving various finance-related projects (local and regional) and ad-hoc projects as needed.

Requirements:

• 6 to 8 years post-qualification experience.
• Chartered Accountant with relevant corporate accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and India GAAP; US GAAP experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills (both oral and written).
• Strong technical proficiency with web applications and MS Office (strong Excel skills).
• Ability to multi-task and meet short deadlines in a demanding environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid analytical skills and judgment with strong attention to detail.
