As part of the EA SPORTS team, you will be working on one of the world's leading sports entertainment brands, known for top-selling video game franchises and award-winning interactive technology.
The Senior Lighting Director will lead and unify the lighting teams across multiple game modes, collaborating with the Group Art and Animation Director and Senior Art Directors to create a cohesive lighting vision. You will be responsible for the visual storytelling and atmosphere of the game through lighting, and for creating and implementing lighting setups.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a cohesive lighting strategy across all departments
- Integrating advanced lighting technologies, focusing on interactive and dynamic solutions
- Managing, guiding, and mentoring lighting teams
- Collaborating with Rendering and other departments to ensure consistent visual targets and methodologies
- Promoting a positive team environment that encourages learning, growth, and open communication
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in lighting direction in the gaming industry, expert understanding of lighting aesthetics and principles, and strong artistic eye for composition, mood, and atmosphere.
