Hardware Install Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Hardware Install Engineer to join our team at Synopsys in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.

As a Hardware Install Engineer, you will be responsible for installing Synopsys hardware at various customer sites, both domestically and internationally. You will collaborate with hardware engineering and manufacturing teams to analyze potential hardware failures and define corrective actions. Additionally, you will maintain accurate data on all hardware activities, provide periodic reports to management, and work closely with manufacturing teams to review the production process.

Key responsibilities include:

• Installing Synopsys hardware at customer sites
• Collaborating with hardware engineering and manufacturing teams to analyze and resolve hardware issues
• Maintaining accurate data on hardware activities and providing periodic reports
• Working with manufacturing teams to ensure superior quality of Synopsys hardware
• Integrating boards into complete systems
• Providing technical support and guidance to customers

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of related experience in test and validation engineering
• Proficiency in Linux environments and scripting languages such as bash and tcsh
• Experience with hardware installation and maintenance at customer sites
• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve hardware issues
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
