The Operations Finance Analyst Principal will serve as the principal financial advisor, providing high-quality and objective guidance to all levels of decision-makers. The role involves planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing all financial management activities, including the formulation, justification, defense, and execution of extensive and complex budgets.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage financial operating plans, track budget execution, and address funding shortfalls using the Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS)
- Oversee critical financial oversight initiatives, including Quality Assurance Programs for accounting activities
- Ensure adherence to regulations, including the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and the DoW Financial Management Regulation (FMR)
- Apply analytical techniques and maintain audit readiness
- Prepare, examine, negotiate, and revise contracts
- Ensure contracts are consistent with management's goals, policies, and procedures
- Create, maintain, and update financial databases and spreadsheets
- Generate various financial reports as required
- Develop excellent communication, influencing, project management, and leadership skills
The successful candidate will have:
- 6+ years of related experience
- A Bachelor's degree
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- US citizenship
- Experience with Microsoft Office
