Description
The Large Format Writing System Engineer (NPDI) role involves partnering with stakeholders to deliver innovative products and technologies. You will drive future product requirements, identify customer needs, and make judgments on product quality, reliability, and user experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead printer system testing to demonstrate printhead architecture and ink baseline performance
- Own autopsy, triage, and failure tracking activities
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support printhead manufacturing qualification and production readiness
- Translate complex technical information into clear insights for cross-functional discussions
- Lead or support resolution of complex system-level technical issues
- Document and transfer specifications, technical justifications, and knowledge to manufacturing partners
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Material/Chemical engineering or relevant
- Technical breadth and system approach
- Demonstrated analytical and empirical problem-solving skills
- System thinker with growth mindset and adaptability
- Ability to work across multiple time zones and collaborate with various teams
- Prior experience in print testing and failure analysis techniques is an advantage
