At Prodrive, a leading motorsport organisation, you will undertake a 12-month undergraduate industrial placement in the Chassis or Powertrain Design team.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you will gain exposure to different perspectives and approaches, helping you grow both professionally and personally.
The current programmes at Prodrive include GT race cars, Dakar, and the Rally Raid Championship, as well as R&D work pioneering sustainable solutions for motorsport. You will work on cutting-edge projects that contribute to motorsport programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and developing components and systems for high-performance vehicles.
- Create detailed models and drawings using CAD software.
- Conduct simulations and analyses to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Support the preparation of technical documentation and design reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs seamlessly.
- Participate in testing and validation activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovative solutions.
Who Are We Looking For?:
- Currently studying for an accredited Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related degree programme.
- Strong interest in motorsport and high-performance engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Basic understanding of design principles and engineering fundamentals.
- Understanding of technical drawing standards and tolerancing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and development.
