Production Operator

We are seeking a Production Operator to join our team at Multimatic in East Gwillimbury, Ontario. As a Production Operator, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing process, operating production machinery, testing and inspecting products, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate drilling, riveting, staking, tapping, welding, and other production machinery
• Use checking fixtures and measuring equipment to test products
• Count and label finished components, record production information
• Enter accurate information into the inventory system
• Record trends on production reports and lot control forms
• Check assemblies against fixtures, gauges, and visual inspection aids
• Identify concerns related to productivity, quality, or safety
• Perform maintenance tasks, including tip changes and tool changes
• Conduct finished goods inspections as required
• Halt operations and inform supervisors in case of nonconformance
• Ensure the work area and machinery are clean and safe

Basic Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Experience working in a team environment
• Mechanical aptitude is an asset
• Detail-oriented

The total cash compensation range for this position is $21.14 - $30.19.
