Actuarial Business Solutions Intern

We are looking for an Actuarial Business Solutions Intern to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City.

As an intern, you will report to the Actuarial Business Solutions Specialist and contribute to various projects, including:

• Performing Prophet modelling and delivering quarter-end/year-end modelling and integration of new products in Master Prophet model
• Enhancing documentation and guidelines for the modelling process
• Improving coding efficiency and run-time
• Providing business data-driven insights to support management action to improve persistency
• Developing and enhancing dashboards to meet stakeholder requirements and improve reporting efficiency
• Documenting data usage and processes for new business intelligence tools to ensure transparency and governance
• Assisting in preparing monthly and ad-hoc reports for internal stakeholders
• Collaborating with team members to streamline workflows and implement automation solutions
• Participating in meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide insights for data-driven decision-making

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A bachelor's degree in a subject with significant exposure to actuarial, finance, mathematics, and/or statistics
• Prior Actuarial/Finance internship experience is preferred
• Basic knowledge of Prophet, able to set up runs and read codes
• Knowledge of VBA, Python, SQL, or R
• Experience working with Microsoft packages
• English fluency is necessary for this position
• Good communication and presentation skills, team player, organised, and punctual
