Senior Financial Analyst

Amazon's Prime Video team has an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the EMEA operational accounting activities of Prime Video.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in dealing with ambiguity with a strong ability to prioritise multiple projects and to execute deliverables with excellent communication and to a high standard. The ability to influence stakeholders will also be essential to succeed in this role.

Key job responsibilities:

• Supporting aspects of accounting and reporting process
• End-to-end process ownership to support finance and business partners
• Understand internal control design concepts to assess effectiveness of controls and design new effective processes and controls
• Execute judgment and ensure right decisions are reached to accurately report financial results
• Drive projects, provide accounting guidance and often serve as first point of contact for finance and business partners to resolve issues

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
• Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
• ACA, CIMA, ACCA or similar credentials required
• Experience of a monthly close cycle, periodic financial reporting and related analytical analysis with a knowledge of various GAAP accounting rules including US GAAP and IFRS

• Experience working with a fast-paced, high-tech start-up or complex company
• Demonstrated history of solving multiple complex operational and accounting challenges
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Experience working with Oracle
