The Data & Insights (D&I) team transforms data into actionable insights that power EA. They guide strategy and governance, build data and AI solutions, and ensure personalisation experimentation and analytics, partnering across teams to improve decisions and create more meaningful player experiences.
As a Senior Analyst, you will report to the Director of Analytics and have an impact on all game systems in EA SPORTS titles, such as Madden Mobile, one of the world's biggest sports gaming franchises.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse player behaviour, feature performance, economy health, retention, engagement, and monetisation in Madden Mobile and similar mobile sports titles.
- Partner with Product Managers and Designers to translate business questions into clear, actionable insights.
- Build dashboards and presentations that communicate performance trends, recommendations, and success criteria to team members.
- Design telemetry and partner with Data Engineering to improve data quality and scalable analysis.
- Develop expertise in EA SPORTS titles' datasets to identify opportunities for product optimisation.
- Model, simulate, and run experiments on complex gameplay systems throughout the development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience informing product strategy with data analysis in gaming or adjacent digital products with high independence.
- Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or related discipline).
- Expert-level SQL proficiency with experience extracting insights from complex datasets.
- Experience designing self-service dashboards using Tableau, Looker, or other similar tools.
- Experience using Python or similar for analysis, modelling, segmentation, experimentation, or hypothesis testing.
- Familiarity with mobile live service games, player retention, economy systems, or American football.
