Description
We are seeking a Customer and Trading Manager to lead our nightshift team at our Folkestone store. As a Customer and Trading Manager, you will be responsible for delivering all replenishment activities across the store, prioritising deliveries, organising the warehouse, and replenishing shelves. You will also be responsible for managing a team, ensuring standards are met, and providing brilliant customer service.
The role involves leading a team overnight, running a full store operation, and being responsible for the safety and wellbeing of colleagues. You will need to be adaptable to the physical and mental impact of nightshift working and have previous line management experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team to deliver replenishment activities
- Managing performance and capability
- Conducting disciplinaries and ensuring scheduling and pay are accurate
- Providing brilliant customer service and coaching a team to do the same
- Delivering and monitoring KPIs
- Managing employee relations issues
We offer a salary of £31,700 per annum, plus a £4,500 premium for working nightshifts. Additional benefits include a discount card, annual bonus scheme, free food and hot drinks, generous holiday entitlement, and pension matching.
