Teacher, PE/Movement

We are seeking a Teacher, PE/Movement to join our team at High Tech High in San Marcos, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing lesson plans and educating students in grades K-5.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and a valid California Physical Education credential or out-of-state teaching license. They will have excellent communication and organisational skills, and be able to incorporate Science, Technology, Engineering, and Arts (STEAM) into lessons.

Responsibilities:

• Create daily lesson plans with project-based assignments that are engaging, educational, and exciting for students
• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
• Incorporate goals, competencies, and objectives into lesson plans in ways that directly apply to students' lives
• Achieve school and course-wide performance goals for every student in class
• Grade assignments and homework regularly to keep students updated on their progress
