Mobile CCTV Relief Officer

We are seeking a Mobile CCTV Relief Officer to join our team in Glasgow, Scotland. As a Mobile CCTV Relief Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all visitors, staff, and assets within various sites in Glasgow and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular foot patrols of the sites, including car parks, to deter criminal activity and ensure a safe environment.
• Operate and monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and other security equipment to detect and respond to suspicious activities.
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including first aid situations, fire alarms, theft, and other security incidents.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
• Provide assistance and information to visitors and staff, maintaining a visible and approachable presence.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of incidents, observations, and patrols.
• Work closely with law enforcement, emergency services, and shopping centre management to ensure coordinated responses to security issues.
• Adhere to all company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements related to security operations.
• Participate in regular training sessions on security procedures, first aid, fire safety, and other relevant topics.

Requirements:

• Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence.
• Valid CCTV licence.
• Strong Health and Safety awareness.
• Previous experience in a security role, preferably within a retail or shopping centre environment.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.
