Working as a Deli Production Expert at Target means being part of a team that enables a consistent experience for guests by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, available and accurately priced and signed on the sales floor.
As a Deli Production Expert, you will create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments such as greeting guests, helping them find what they need, and resolving issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing, packaging and labelling items to specifications on production cards
- Executing food and beverage processes, including food deliveries, replenishment, and stock rotation
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, adhering to food safety requirements
- Engaging with guests to capture and fulfil their customised Deli orders
- Providing an exceptional guest experience, prioritising their needs over tasks
- Working collaboratively with team members to achieve sales, instock and profitability goals
To succeed in this role, you should:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members
- Be able to communicate effectively on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Be able to resolve guest queries quickly and efficiently
- Be attention to detail and able to follow multi-step processes
- Be capable of remaining focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
