Description
We are seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team. You will play a critical role in supporting our commercial planning and decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
- Support monthly forecasting, annual planning, and performance reviews, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct month-end close analysis, including reviewing actual results, validating accruals, and explaining key variances against forecast and plan.
- Prepare financial reporting and monthly business review materials that clearly communicate results, performance trends, and business implications.
- Manage trade investment forecasts, accruals, and performance tracking to support financial accuracy and effective investment decisions.
- Evaluate pricing, promotional activity, and customer investments to assess their impact on business performance and profitability.
- Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support pricing, investment, and customer decisions.
- Partner closely with Sales and cross-functional stakeholders to support commercial planning and decision-making.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations that influence customer strategies, investment plans, and channel priorities.
- Present monthly business reviews and financial results to Sales stakeholders across multiple organizational levels, including senior leaders.
- Support strategic initiatives related to pricing, trade investment, customer profitability, and commercial effectiveness.
- Improve reporting, analytical tools, financial controls, and recurring processes through standardization and automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), commercial finance or a related role.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, large data-set analysis, and management reporting.
- Solid understanding of financial planning, variance analysis, and performance management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate findings into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships and clearly communicate complex financial information to stakeholders across all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG), food and beverage or retail industry.
- Familiarity with SAP, Analysis for Office, or similar financial reporting and planning tools.
- Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools, such as Power BI.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity, automate processes, and support data-driven decision-making.
