Description
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team at MaintainX, which is part of Autodesk. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will work on building and improving the workflows that customers use every day, solve hard product problems, and shape the architecture and engineering practices from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
- Build and improve the workflows customers use every day, from scheduling and parts management to reporting.
- Solve hard product problems: dense, data-heavy interfaces, large datasets, offline behaviour and multi-site scale.
- Shape architecture and engineering practices from the ground up on our newly formed teams.
- Make complex workflows feel simple on desktop and mobile.
- Ship features end to end, from planning through production.
- Partner directly with Product Managers and Designers to shape your team's roadmap.
- Own a feature area or system's long-term health: reliability, performance, and the parts of the codebase nobody notices until they break.
- Review code and mentor other developers on your team.
- Raise the bar on tooling, testing, and delivery practices.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience building full-stack web or mobile products.
- Deep hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Experience with mobile-first, responsive, iterative development.
- A track record of writing maintainable, testable code you're comfortable handing off to someone else.
- Strong written and verbal communication: you can explain a technical tradeoff to a designer or a support lead as easily as to another developer.
- Comfort making progress on a problem before the spec is fully settled, adjusting as you learn more.
- Day-to-day use of AI tools in your development workflow, not just occasional experimentation.
Nice to have:
- GraphQL, React Native, or SQL database experience.
- Experience with scheduling or calendar UIs, data-heavy front ends, offline-first or sync architectures, multi-tenant or enterprise platforms, workflow engines, or inventory and transactional systems.
Salary: For Canada-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $107,000 and $157,300.
