GSOC Response & Policy Program Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a GSOC Response & Policy Program Specialist to define Anthropic's Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) incident detection, response, and recovery processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop the GSOC plan and policy, including functions, severity matrix, communication templates, and service levels.
• Create global incident-specific response protocols and playbooks for operators and business partners.
• Design a scalable on-call rotation and call tree for GSOC incident response.
• Obtain approval from Legal, HR, and senior leadership, and train the team.
• Assist in incident response and act as a liaison between GSOC and Crisis Management.
• Conduct after-action reviews and tabletop exercises to improve the policy.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in GSOCs, security operations, emergency management, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience authoring security policy and serving as an Incident Commander.
• Knowledge of ISO 22320:2018 and severity frameworks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience setting up a security operations center or incident response program.
• Familiarity with mass notification and incident management platforms.
• Travel risk management and duty-of-care program experience.
• Professional certifications like CEM, CBCP, or PSP.

Logistics

• Annual salary: $180,000 - $230,000 USD.
• Hybrid work policy: 25% office time.
• Visa sponsorship available.
