About the Role

W&B Models is the experiment tracking platform used by leading AI teams. As Senior Product Manager for Models, you'll drive improvements across the core experiment workflow, making it faster and more insightful for researchers.

Responsibilities

  • Advance the researcher's daily workflow, focusing on how runs are organized, compared, and understood.
  • Rethink how training is visualized and monitored, surfacing key information mid-run.
  • Make evaluations a first-class part of experiment tracking, integrating logging, comparing, and analyzing eval results.
  • Make analysis at scale a first-class experience, defining how researchers slice, aggregate, and reason across large experiment histories.
  • Ground every decision in how researchers actually work, spending time with users and translating insights into product decisions.
  • Ship with quality and speed, owning execution from problem definition through launch and iteration.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience on technical products for developer or researcher audiences.
  • Lived experience with the ML researcher's workflow, having trained models or worked closely with researchers.
  • Strong instincts for data visualization and product design.
  • Technical fluency, able to read training scripts and discuss evaluation methodology.
  • Clear and precise communication, aligning stakeholders without ceremony.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with experiment tracking tools.
  • Experience with enterprise ML platforms or fine-tuning services.
  • Public technical writing or conference talks.
  • Participation in developer communities or user research.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $182,000 to $242,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program.
