Retail Sales Lead (Barton Creek Square)

Squishable is looking for a Retail Sales Lead to join their team in Barton Creek Square, Austin, Texas. As a Retail Sales Lead, you will be a key member of the store leadership team, supporting the Store Manager in driving sales, developing the team, and creating an exceptional experience for every Squishable fan.

Responsibilities include:

• Understanding organizational objectives and making decisions that align with company priorities and values
• Enforcing sales strategies, initiatives, and growth across all categories
• Holding self and the sales team accountable for personal sales productivity
• Acting as a brand ambassador in the local market or mall to drive brand loyalty and business
• Resolving customer issues with a solution-oriented, forward-thinking approach
• Developing individual and team product knowledge to stay up to date on all current Squishable in-store products
• Assisting in supervising the team daily, weekly, and monthly to meet goals and use company tools

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant supervisory experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, challenging, and creative customer-facing environment
• Passion for people and a dynamic and engaged leader with a passion for empowering, inspiring, motivating, teaching, and developing team members
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and highly entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback and recognition to every team member
• High emotional intelligence, with the ability to work with and manage diverse teams
• Team player who fosters a collaborative and engaged team environment
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Able to transport stock as required, including lifting cartons up to 25 lbs.

Compensation:

• Pay range for this position is $16.00-$17.00 per hour
