Supervisor, Power Generation - Memphis

As a Supervisor on the power generation team at SpaceXAI, you will lead technicians operating, maintaining, and repairing on-site generation for high-density AI supercomputing facilities.

You will oversee plant technicians, process technicians, and electrical technicians as one operations and maintenance team, covering gas turbine packages, balance-of-plant, process/fluid systems, and plant electrical systems through 34.5 kV.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading a team of technicians for inspections, testing, operations, maintenance, and repair of power generation systems
• Scheduling daily work, prioritising assignments, and balancing planned maintenance against real-time plant needs
• Directing switching, isolation, LOTO, start-up, shutdown, and restoration activities
• Ensuring work execution quality and enforcing safety procedures
• Supporting plant start-ups, shutdowns, commissioning, and outages
• Coordinating with engineering, operators, and utility personnel
• Overseeing vendors and contractors
• Communicating with the Manager on daily activities and team performance
• Driving technician performance and effectiveness through coaching and development

The basic qualifications for this role are:

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a power plant or high-reliability industrial facility

Preferred skills and experience include:

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in a technical field
• Background in gas turbine operations, process systems, or medium-voltage electrical operations and maintenance
• Experience leading a mixed-discipline operations and maintenance team
• Ability to read P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and electrical schematics
• Experience with LOTO, switching procedures, and NFPA 70E / arc-flash practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
