As an Assistant Merchandiser, you'll take meaningful ownership of range planning, forecasting and in-season trading across UK and International channels. You'll work closely with Merchandising, Buying, Sourcing and Supply Chain partners to use data and commercial judgement to spot opportunities, manage stock and deliver outstanding availability, sales and profit.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with the Merchandiser and Buying teams to shape strategy, forecasts and quarterly product plans across stores, online and International.
- Analyse performance, competitors and customer demand to identify opportunities and maximise sales, profit and availability.
- Own launch quantities and adapt stock, commitment, markdown and clearance plans as trading conditions change.
- Manage accurate ranges, listings and the critical path from buy to delivery, working closely with Sourcing Offices and suppliers.
- Translate trading lessons into stronger future plans and provide clear range information to Space Planning and Development.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships, support International buying events and improve systems and processes.
