Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our Operations Team as a Provider Intake Officer. You will be responsible for organizing and processing the flow of incoming and outgoing documents in a back office environment.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage intake documents
- Sort, process, and vet claims for payment
- Electronically transfer received claims to various platforms
- Triage the flow between members and provider claims
- Operate data entry devices for various data entry and verification duties
- Use basic office equipment such as photocopy machines and facsimile machines
- Format and produce documents
- Conduct peer-to-peer validation checks
- Triage the flow of provider claims for data governance
- Perform basic mathematical operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Use word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other software on a computer
- Complete any other tasks assigned
Skills/Qualities:
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to complete tasks with little or no supervision
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to take ownership
- Work well in a team environment
- Ability to learn in a virtual environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Confidentiality management of data
- Diploma or degree from a recognized institution
